Importing existing Mail or Address Books
into Outlook Express.
Import will show your registered Mail clients. Select the entry as appropriate and place a Check mark in the boxes for Messages and Address Book.
Click on the Next button.
18. Choose a Profile Name.
The profile is information about where your personal mail files will be stored, you may have a
"personal profile" from other mail software that Outlook Express will try to find and convert.
Click on the "New" button. This will start the "Inbox Setup wizard"
19. Place a "DOT" in the "Manually configure information services". Click on the Next button.
20. Now Outlook Express will prompt you to create a "Name" for the new profile
It may read your Outlook Express configuration as a first choice or allow you to type the name you want to assign.
Click on the Next button.
21. It will prompt you for the Internet Connection to use. "Wizard" should the selected entry
and a Check Mark should be in the box "Set as the default startup connection." Click on "OK"
22. You should hear the modem dial and connect to Wizard Communcations Systems. When the connection is established.
Outlook Express will open and allow you to select You mail or News.
Congratulations! You have successfully configured Microsoft Outlook Express.
