Wizard's WebTV Help Page

  • From Your WebTV main page, Select "SETUP" from the options on the left.

  • In SETUP, select the "DIALING" option.

  • Once you've choosen the dialing option you will need to select "USE YOUR ISP" from the menu.

    NOTE* If you do not have the "Use Your ISP" choice, you will need to contact WebTv's customer care center at 1-800-GO-WEBTV to have them activate Open ISP.

  • Read the information on Using your own ISP and continue to click continue until you come to a page titled "USE YOUR OWN ISP"

  • Enter Wizard onto the line titled "Service provider name"
  • Enter your Login name
  • Enter your password
  • Enter your modem dial-in number
  • We have expanded our "Local" dialup access to all of Erie and Niagara Counties along with the communities of Medina, Albion, Batavia, Olean, and Wellsville.  All of our local calling areas have access to both dialup hunt groups.  Go to our Dialup Locations Page to see the numbers available for local dialup access.
  • Enter your dail-in backup number
  • Choose "DONE"
  • WebTV then hangs up and reconnects. Read the information screen and select "USE ISP"
  • The Internet terminal connects to the WebTV Network and then you will see a confirmation screen asking to use "Your ISP" or "WebTV" . By selecting "Use your ISP" your WebTV terminal will redial using your ISP.

    You are now on the World Wide Web(WWW) with WebTv.
